John David Hansill, MD

Dr. Hansill is currently the Vice Chief of Staff and former Chief of Surgery at Manatee memorial Hospital. He joined West Coast Women’s Specialists in 2015 practicing OB/GYN with focus on female pelvic reconstruction, urinary incontinence, urogynecology, cosmetic gynecology, recurrent UTI’s, and minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Hansill initially trained in nursing, which gave him a good base for medical training. He then attended Spartan health sciences University school of medicine. He did residency at bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. He has subspecialty training in urogynecology with pelvic reconstruction. With his specialty training in minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopic procedures, and pelvic reconstruction, he is able to help many women with chronic urinary tract and prolapse related issues.

Dr. Hansill also speaks Spanish, which helps him serve our local community here in Florida.
